When My Actions Don't Make a Difference

I act right. I'm helpful when I can be. I'm a good citizen. I go to church. I take care of my family. I donate to charity. I may have a lot of actions that I take that I hope are not only helping me be a good person but are also making a difference in this world. But if I don't see any impact? What if it feels like trying to do the right thing or trying to help is just a waste of time? What do I do when it feels like I'm not making a difference?

From Series: "Breaking Point"

Many of us have experienced times in our lives when we felt overwhelmed, stretched to our limit, about to break. Busy schedules, financial burdens, relationship problems, faith struggles…or maybe a combination of these…can push us to our breaking point. For the next few weeks at Flagstone we’re going to look at different characters from scripture who didn’t think they could take it anymore, and we’re going to discover that, when we are at our breaking point, we can actually experience a breakthrough.
