Detoxing My Heart

From scripture's perspective, the heart is center of our emotions, our desires, our feelings, our values. Having a "healthy heart" is vital to having a healthy relationship with God and also to having healthy relationships with other people. So what happens when something "unhealthy" takes control of my heart? What do I do when there are spiritual toxins that begin to pollute and corrupt my heart? How do I experience a heart detox?

Scripture References: Mark 9:43-47, Psalms 51:4, Psalms 51:3, Luke 6:45, Mark 12:30, 1 John 1:9, Psalms 51:10
