Often when we make mistakes or make decisions that hurt others, we feel remorse. Sometimes we're truly sorry for the pain we've caused; sometimes we're just sorry we got caught. But Scripture shows us that no matter who we are or what we've done, we have the opportunity for a second chance. Not simply a chance to apologize or "fix" our mistakes, but a chance to become something different—to be changed from the inside out. What if the most important decision I made today was to accept God's offer to become something new?

We all have moments when we need a second chance—a fresh start or a new direction. Sometimes we need another opportunity because we've gotten ourselves into a difficult situation. Other times, life has handed us difficulties we never expected. At Flagstone, we believe in a God of Second Chances, and we invite you to join us on Sunday mornings in September as we look at the stories of Bible characters who were given another opportunity by God. We're going to discover that even when we fail, fear, struggle, or simply don't know what to do next, God isn't finished with us. He is still ready to give us a second chance.
