//New Year, New Series! Join us this in person or online Sunday at Flagstone @10am!
We all have certain things that inspire us or get us excited, things that we don’t mind devoting lots of time, energy, and maybe even finances towards. We often describe this enthusiasm for a certain thing as something we “have a heart for.” At Flagstone we’re starting off the new year by giving ourselves a “heart check.” We’re taking an honest look at the things we are most devoted to and checking to see if we have a heart for the things our God is passionate about.

Great Relationship Expectations

I might have a perfect picture in mind of how flawless my marriage will be, how awesome this dating relationship is going to be, what an amazing connection I'll have with my kids, or how well my friends and I are always going to get along. But then problems come, mistakes are made, and feelings get hurt. My picture-perfect relationship becomes anything but picture-perfect. What do I do what my vision for my relationships doesn't match the reality I'm experiencing.

Scripture References: 1 Peter 4:8, Luke 6:31, Proverbs 19:20, Proverbs 12:18, 1 John 1:8, Ecclesiastes 7:20

Many of us have an ideal picture in mind of how a certain aspect of our lives will turn out.
