The Battle for My Mind
There are bumper stickers and social media posts that challenge us to choose joy and just be happy. But that's a lot easier said than done. When anxious thoughts creep into my mind, it's easy to let them take over, control my actions, and change my perspective. The reality is, there's often a battle in my mind over what will control my thoughts and emotions. What can I do to keep my anxious thoughts from winning that battle?

From Series: "Don't Worry: God's Strategies for Attacking Anxiety " Of all the challenges we face on a regular basis, anxiety is one of the most common. Fear of the unknown, a lack of control, and feeling overwhelmed by our circumstances can leave us struggling with worry and despair. When anxiety attacks, we can feel defenseless and powerless to fight back. But God has given us strategies in His Word to help us go on the offensive against worry and fear. For the next few weeks at Flagstone, we’ll discover the weapons God gives us to attack our anxiety so we can conquer it instead of allowing it to conquer us.
