Refusing to Come Down

We all have times when we've walked away from something. A project. A New Year's resolution. A relationship. We were sincere when we made the commitment, but something distracted us, someone discouraged us, or something else became more important. It happens with the things God puts on our hearts, too. We sense His calling, and we're excited about it, we're committed to it...until we're not. That's a habit many of us need to break. We need to discover how to stay committed to what God has called us to do—even when something or someone tries to pull us away.

From Series: "Do Something: From Burden to Action"

Sometimes the next step isn't obvious. We sense God stirring something in our hearts—a burden we can't ignore—but we're not always sure what to do with it. Whether it's serving others, meeting a need in our community, or making a difference in our church, God often begins with a burden before He reveals the plan. Join us at Flagstone for our new series, Do Something: From Burden to Action, as we follow the story of Nehemiah and discover how God used an ordinary man with an extraordinary burden to accomplish something significant. Along the way, we'll see that God is still calling His people to step out in faith and take action today.
