Flagstone Live | Designed to Meet Needs

Of all the different reasons we could list for why God created the church in the first place, one of the main purposes we see in God's plan for His church is to be a body of people that meets the needs, not just of its members, but of its surrounding community as well. We are not made to put blinders on and ignore people's needs. We are designed to have eyes that see people's needs and a heart that wants to do something about them. That's the blueprint; that's the plan. But how do we live that out in our culture today?

Scripture References: Acts 4:34-35, Acts 2:45-46, Acts 4:32, Acts 2:44, Acts 5:14, Acts 4:33-34, Acts 5:15-16

From Series: "Blueprint: The Framework for a Healthy Church"

Just like the blueprints that builders and engineers use to get a clearer picture of what it is that’s being built, get a better understanding of certain features of the structure or machine, and get a clearer focus on goals that need to be accomplished, scripture also shows us a picture of God’s design for the church. This summer at Flagstone, we’re taking a closer look at God’s blueprint for His church as we walk through the first eight chapters of the book of Acts, and we want you to join us on the journey!
