It's easy to have faith when things are going our way, when God answers our prayers, or when He blesses us in unexpected ways. But what happens when life gets difficult and we face circumstances beyond our control? We may not abandon our faith, but we can struggle to grow in it. We become frustrated, disillusioned, and doubtful. Sometimes what we need is a second chance - another opportunity to see that God not only cares, but is already at work in ways we cannot see. Sometimes we need a second chance at a deeper faith. Could God be offering me a second chance to see my circumstances - and my faith - in a whole new way?

We all have moments when we need a second chance—a fresh start or a new direction. Sometimes we need another opportunity because we've gotten ourselves into a difficult situation. Other times, life has handed us difficulties we never expected. At Flagstone, we believe in a God of Second Chances, and we invite you to join us on Sunday mornings in September as we look at the stories of Bible characters who were given another opportunity by God. We're going to discover that even when we fail, fear, struggle, or simply don't know what to do next, God isn't finished with us. He is still ready to give us a second chance.
