Most of us find ourselves being tempted on multiple occasions to do something we shouldn't. But many of us have that certain temptation, that certain habit or struggle, that is consistently a problem. We try not to give in; we try to stay strong. But we often find ourselves being pushed to the limit of our ability to say "no." What do I do when my temptations push me to my breaking point? How can I keep from breaking down and giving in to the struggles I should avoid?
Many of us have experienced times in our lives when we felt overwhelmed, stretched to our limit, about to break. Busy schedules, financial burdens, relationship problems, faith struggles…or maybe a combination of these…can push us to our breaking point. For the next few weeks at Flagstone we’re going to look at different characters from scripture who didn’t think they could take it anymore, and we’re going to discover that, when we are at our breaking point, we can actually experience a breakthrough.
